Our friend Peggy Bouchard

Peggy It is with regret that we announce the passsinng of our friend, Peggy Bouchard.  Peggy was a great gal.  You heard her big laugh every Wednesday at St. Anastasia Bingo. And she did like to laugh. She got into the fun at Beach Blanket Bingo, Halloween Bingo and Cinco de Mayo Bingo (see pictures below). Always a good sport, a good bingo player and a good friend to the workers and her buddies back in the east corner, we'll all miss her.

Here what was written in the News-Sun:

Margaret Ann Bouchard Margaret Ann (Peggy) Bouchard (nee Taylor), 73, of Lindenhurst, passed away June 27, 2010 at home. Peggy was born on February 6, 1937 to Douglas and Olive Taylor in Zion, IL. She married Wayne Bouchard on June 18, 1976. Peggy worked as an assessor for Lake County before retiring to Palm Desert, CA. In 2002 she moved back to Illinois to be near her family. Peggy had the most amazing sense of humor and made sure she had a least one laugh a day. She loved reading books, Wednesday night bingo at St. Anastasia and traveling. She went on more than 15 cruises, and always looked forward to the Girls Annual Vegas Trip. Peggy will be missed greatly by her daughters: Jacki (David) Lowy, Jill (Daniel) Shield, and Noreen Bouchard. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael and Ellen Lowy, her many nieces and nephews, cousins, numerous friends, including and life-long friends Lorna (Jim) Nader of Foley, AL, and Mickey Warner of Beach Park and Betty (Terry) Campbell of Clinton, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, in 1998, her daughter Donna in 1997, her parents, and brothers John and Glenn Taylor. The family would like to thank Christine Gorman, Cheryl Ross and Patty Styx for their support during this difficult time. The family is especially thankful to Robyn Schenning and Sandy Kirschak of Advocate Hospice, and Dr. Lynda Roden and her staff for all their help and support. An open house will be held at the Falling Waters Clubhouse, 3200 Falling Waters Lane, Lindenhurst, IL, on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Lake Villa District Library Foundation, 1001 Grand Avenue, Lake Villa, IL 60046.
